Common questions

How is WPM counted?

By the international convention, 5 characters/units = 1 word. Gross WPM counts everything typed; net WPM removes errors — exams judge net WPM. On this site a Bengali conjunct (like ক্ষ) counts as one unit.

Which keyboard layout should I practice on?

This site works with any layout — Avro, Bijoy, Gboard, Ridmik. Government exams typically use the Bijoy layout, but always check the rules in your own recruitment circular.

Are these standards final?

Only fields found in a government document are labelled verified. If a source does not publish duration or accuracy, the app labels those values as practice settings. The latest circular for your own application is always final.

Where is my progress stored?

Only in your own browser. There are no accounts and nothing is sent to any server.
